76,000 sq foot indoor waterpark. The water park contains Spirit Island,
Fort McKenzie, and Bear Track Landing. Spirit Island contains a 4 story,
200 foot tube slide that plunges into a lazy river and several other adult speed
slides. Fort McKenzie features a huge tipping bucket that dumps 1,000
gallons of water every few minutes and also contains several body slides.
Great Wolf Lodge's new Bear Track Landing water park contains a giant wave pool,
a waterslide racetrack, and 8 other new water slides.
The Wisconsin Dells Great Wolf Lodge also features a 60,000 sq foot outdoor
water park
called Thunder Bay. The outdoor water park features a large 116,000 gallon
outdoor pool, a lazy river which circles the outdoor water park, a tipping water bucket, water basketball and several
water slides.
The water park also features the Howlin' Tornado. This 6-story funnel
tube ride slides a 4-person raft down 6-stories, swirling its riders back and
forth until they splash into a safe landing. It is the only enclosed
Howlin' Tornado in the world!
